Speech-language pathology involves the study, diagnosis, and treatment of communicative disorders. Speech is the spoken product of language and the process through which sounds are produced. Language is a system used to represent thoughts and ideas. Communication is the exchange of information and ideas through the use of speech and language.
Speech-Language Therapy treats receptive language, expressive language and speech concerns. Speech and Language Pathologists also treat oral-motor, feeding, and swallowing concerns. We also offer Polish- and Spanish-language Pathologists.
