Vital Rehabilitation incorporates a unique multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitation therapy utilizing the skills and expertise of a diverse team of specialized therapists. Our physical therapists work to restore mobility, strength and function through patient education and prevention programs, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and pain relief modalities.

Our therapists promote independence in self-care, work/play and leisure skills through therapy with our patients. Through Occupational Therapy, we focus on the patient’s ability to perform daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding by enhancing or restoring function that may have been lost due to injury, disease, aging or congenital abnormality. Areas of expertise include hand therapy, lymphedema therapy, industrial therapy and ADL (Activities for Daily Living). Adults may experience speech and language difficulties due to Stroke, traumatic brain injuries, dysarthria or apraxia. Vital therapists work with patients to treat receptive/expressive language, speech, feeding and swallowing conditions. We offer Polish-speaking and Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologists. At Vital, our therapists use Aquatic Therapy as a weightless environment so patients can perform their therapeutic exercises. Aquatic Therapy is an effective form of exercise for people who suffer from low back or neck pain, chronic or acute pain, orthopedic or neurological conditions, arthritis/rheumatoid arthritis, strokes and muscle spasms. Aquatic therapy reduces the stress placed on the patient’s joints and disallows swelling and pain.
